Thunderbird Spares will not accept liability for any damage or loss resulting from computer viruses or other malicious code which may affect computer equipment or other property caused by accessing, browsing or use of this website.
Thunderbird Spares will not accept responsibility or liability for any damage or loss to products purchased from this website or to personal property resulting from the use of, incorrect fitment of, or incorrectly purchased products purchased from this website. 2. Product Suitability
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that a product is suitable for their vehicle prior to ordering and whilst we will advise to the best of our knowledge we strongly advise all customers to make their own enquiries and research before purchasing. Thunderbird Spares are not liable for any loss of costs incurred by customers including delivery costs, handling costs, packaging costs or fitting costs. In respect of overseas customers, we are unable to ensure that products contained on this website will be suitable for non-UK vehicles. Application information contained on this website is supplied by the product manufacturers.
Thunderbird Spares makes no representation that any product referred to in this website is appropriate to use outside the United Kingdom. Customers from outside the UK are responsible for compliance with local laws if local laws are applicable.
3. Prices & Payment
Delivery charges start from £1.00 and are based entirely on weight rather than per item purchased allowing us to keep postage costs as low as possible meaning delivery charges are only increased if necessary depending on weight of items purchased. We reserve the right to amend delivery charges at any time in accordance with third party postal and courier companies' charges. If this occurs after an order is placed then customers will be given the opportunity to cancel or proceed with the order. We also reserve the right to re-charge delivery charges if an order is returned to us as undelivered and has not been claimed or called for.
4. Delivery of Goods
We aim to dispatch items in stock within 72 hours of cleared payment (not including weekends & bank holidays) although goods are often dispatched within 24 hours. However, UK buyers should allow up to 7 days for delivery and overseas buyers should allow additional time depending on destination. Items are normally sent by Royal Mail or by courier in respect of heavier or larger items.
If an order is returned to us as not delivered due to it not being claimed then we reserve the right to re-charge delivery costs.
Please check orders immediately on receipt to ensure correct items have been received. If an incorrectly delivered item is received or if an item is missing from an order, customers must notify us within 7 working days of receipt. We are unable to rectify problems of missing items after this time has elapsed.
If you are outside the UK, you may have to pay additional taxes and/or duty on imported goods. These charges are outside our control and are the responsibility of the customer. You should consult your local Customs office for information.
We are unable to dispatch orders to alternative delivery addresses outside of the UK (except by prior agreement with us). Deliveries of orders to overseas customers will be made to the billing address only (except by prior agreement). Alternative delivery addresses provided for UK orders may be verified before dispatch which may include, but not limited to, corresponding with the cardholder at the billing address.
All goods are subject to availability. If your item is not in stock then we will notify you immediately by email whereupon you will be advised of a delivery date or offered a full refund. If goods are not supplied, then payment will be refunded in the full amount. Thunderbird Spares will not be liable for any losses which may be suffered if we do not supply goods ordered.
5. Lost/Undelivered Items
In the very rare occurrence that an item is not received, then we will offer to replace or refund the item after 10 working days after dispatch for UK customers and after 25 working days for overseas customers. This is to allow for any unforeseeable delays which may happen if an order is delayed at customs or by local postal service etc.
Thunderbird Spares accepts no responsibility or liability if an item is damaged during fitment by a customer or third party.
6.2 Wrong Goods Received
We are very careful to ensure that items ordered are sent out correctly to our customers. However, we understand that things can sometimes go wrong. On receipt of an incorrect order being received or order missing items, customers should notify us by email within 48 hours. We will require the incorrect item to be returned to us within 14 working days in an undamaged and resaleable condition in order for a refund/replacement to be processed. Such items should be returned with adequate insurance to cover possible damage or items being lost, as a refund/replacement can only be given once the item has been received back at our premises in a resaleable condition. Return postage costs will only be reimbursed if an incorrect item, size or colour was sent out by us due to our error.
6.3 Unwanted Items
Returns must firstly be notified to us by email and the item returned within 14 days of purchase. We recommend that returns are adequately insured before dispatch to cover damage or items being lost. A refund or replacement will only be given once the item has been received back at our premises in a resaleable condition and with all original packaging and parts etc. Thunderbird Spares reserves the right to send unwanted items back to the customer without refund, upon inspection, if it is deemed unsaleable. We are unable to refund postage costs on unwanted goods
7.1 These terms & conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. If any provision is deemed unlawful, void or unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
7.2 We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
