Speedo, Smiths Replica,Black Face NEW Triumph 1971-78

This is brand new replica of the classic Smiths black-faced magnetic speedometer as fitted by Triumph from 1971 to 1978.

You may have seen these replica clocks recently in the Classic bike press and will know what a good reception they have got. They are an very good copy with only the Smiths logo absent and they work very well and seem to have a lot less "needle flutter" than we remember from the original units!

Please note : the case on these units is slightly deeper than the original so if you mount it next to an original Smiths speedo you can see the difference. Ideal if your model has a faulty or missing unit, they are a lot cheaper than having a unit restored!

The gearing of this unit is correct for all the Triumph 650 & 750s from 1971-1978 and will be a direct replacement for this model.

However it can be fitted as a correctly calibrated replacement in tandem with the correct rear wheel speedo drive (15:12 or1.25:1) to any Triumph, BSA or Norton model, we can supply as a set, please check our shop.
